Tequila Tridente Wins Big at New York Wine and Spirits Competition
In the Competition’s eight-year history, the New York World Wine & Spirits Competition (NYWSC) has established itself as one of the most respected judging events in the eastern U.S.A. NYWSC’s judges—predominantly from the New York area—are among the wine and spirits industry’s most trusted authorities, not only on the subject of quality wines and spirits, but also on the regional tastes and trends that drive the wine and spirits markets.
For their first-ever competition entry, Tequila Tridente submitted both the Tridente Blanco and Tridente Reposado into the 2022 New York World Wine and Spirits Competition. The makers of Tequila Tridente wanted to represent the three distinct regions of Mexico which produce Blue Agave, each truly unique in flavor and composition. Crafted alongside Master Distiller Manuel Cedeño Cruz, they experimented with various Blue Agave blends until we ended up with our TRIDENTE blend.
JALISCO, the birthplace of tequila - originally crafted here and has since spread across the world.
NAYARIT, a rich cultural State which is one of the five allowed to produce Tequila in Mexico.
MICHOACAN, a State renowned for its spiritual and artistic background and smooth Blue Agave.
2022 Results:
With over 100 tequila brands submitted, Tequila Tridente stood out from the crowd to earn Bronze in both the Blanco and Reposado categories.

Aging: Pure unaged agave | Double Distilled
Aroma: Aniseed, Citrus, Fruity, Herbal, Pineapple.
Background: Cooked Agave, Peach, Pear, Mint, Floral
Flavor: Sweet, Melon, Apple, Cherry, Peach.
Background: Cooked Agave, Mint, Eucalyptus, Banana.
TRIDENTE REPOSADO
Aroma: Oak, Vanilla, Cooked Agave, Cinnamon, Apple, Black Olive, Herbal.
Background: Fruity, CLove, Peach, White Pepper, Peach.
Flavor: Cooked Agave, Sweet, Vanilla, Eucalyptus, Caramel.
Background: Banana, Apple, Coconut, Nut, Coffee.
